Technical office manager In Carlo Gavazzi Egypt (under UDHE as a main contractor) in Piping Project under Supervision of UHDE Co. as a main contractor. The Project is Ammonia / Urea fertilizers in Damietta in Egypt. Our scope is to construct the piping from compressor to turbine
My responsibility is:
1 Arranging project scheduling and follow up piping activities ( by Primavera)
2 To issue weld maps for all pipelines isometrics.
3 Evaluate the daily and weekly site progress, and report to the site manager
4 Prepare the as built drawing.
5 Coordinate the work with the UHDE site engineer.
6 Prepare Layout, and detail drawings for pipe supports. (by AutoCAD)

Working with “LEAD CO.”( Under Saipem as main contractor) as Senior Technical Office engineer in the UTBS

Worked with SAFARI Co. Ltd. as “Senior Site Engineer” in Restoration Piping project in King Abdul Aziz Naval Base in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
1 Prepare drafts and shop drawing for piping plane and pipe supports
2 Prepared the welding procedure (W.P.S)) for Carbon Steel Pipes for the application of diesel line.
3 Prepared the performance qualification record (P.Q.R).
4 Training and qualify 4 (four) welders for 6G position and 1 welder for 1G position
5 Supervised the Welding and Radiographic testing for diesel line pipes
6 Supervised the fabrication for common support pipelines.
7 Supervised the fabrication for Hydraulic pipe line supports
During March 2002 to March 2006
Worked as “WorkShop Manufacturing Section Head”, with “INTERNATIONAL Co. for BOILERS & PRESSURE VESSELS IBSF”
Responsibilities were:
Preparation of route sheets, material estimation, and shop drawings for tanks, pressure vessels, and piping and steel structure.
NOTE: Route sheet is a document indicates the steps of fabrication, and the inspection needed and the hold points, type of material used..Etc.
During Nov. 1997 to Sept. 2001
Worked as “Technical Office Engineer” with KOLALY ENGINEERING Co. in Egypt.
Responsibilities were:
1997To prepare the workshop drawing for Steel Structure Buildings; Towers, Bridges or pipe racks
1998To prepare the cut sheets for tanks or vessels
1999To estimate the material list upon which Purchasing order is released.
2000To prepare Bolt list & Bolt plan, Bolt list should be sent to purchasing department.
Bolt plan is sent to erection department
2001To prepare Assembly list. Assembly list include: item main size, length, quantity & weight, Assembly list is sent to erection department

Examples for projects, which I participated in:
Niigata project: it was 750 ton steel structure pipe bridges TOYO project: it was a factory for petrochemicals in Sues, in which I prepare the checkered plate platform, workshop drawing for stairs and ladders.
“Ques” Newsprint paper factory project: I prepared the Workshop drawing for the main store building (300 ton) I make a complete revision for wet cleaning Building (250 ton steel structure). I make a complete design for the grating of the recovery Boiler, which was 480 ton steel structure & 40 meter height. The grating weight was about 60 ton.
Also I prepared bolt list, bolt plan, assembly list & material list for many buildings in that factory.

During 1996-1997
Worked with “MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES Co.” as a Technical Supervisor, for tank erection for 200 * 5 Mega watts Thermal Electric Power station in Aleppo, Syria.
My duties were:
2002To check the material (Bechtel Supplied) incoming of the tanks in the light of the packing list and drawing & to report to my chief about any missed items or incorrect material such as: check the shell course sheets; its thickness; its quantities; its dimension.
2003Check the bottom plates & annular plates.
2004Check the nozzles, flanges, manholes, bolts, roof steel structure, and all other items
2005To supervise erection work such as:
- Assembly of annular plates
- Assembly of bottom plates
- Assembly of shell plate
- Welding sequences
- Visual inspection for welding
- Assembly of roof structure & Roof plate
2006Witnessed in all inspection tests such as:
- Air vacuum test for bottom plate welding
- Oil leak test for shell plates welding
- Roundness test inside the tank
- Banding test inside the tank with a vertical sweep board.
